About

I build systems for businesses tired of running on spreadsheets and hope.

Strategy, software, marketing, product, automation, and the occasional 1 a.m. broken button.

Carlos Domingues

I'm Carlos Domingues.

My work sits somewhere between strategy, software, marketing, product, automation, and the occasional “why is this button broken at 1:00 a.m.” moment.

Over the last decade, I've worked across education, entertainment, games, marketing, software, and AI. I've been CEO of MetaStudio, Marketing Director at CG Master Academy, founder of The Black Bird, and worked on projects connected to brands like Cartier, Domestika, CGMA, and RebusFarm.

That sounds cleaner than it felt.

In reality, it means I've spent years solving messy problems where design, technology, business, and human behavior all crash into each other.

The answer is rarely “use more AI.”

It is usually:

  • Your offer is unclear.
  • Your data is scattered.
  • Your team is guessing.
  • Your funnel leaks.
  • Your tools do not talk to each other.
  • Your dashboard lies.
  • Your customers are confused.

And somewhere in there, someone made a Notion page called “Final Final New Version 3.”

I help fix that.

What I do today.

I focus on building AI-powered operating layers for growing businesses. In plain English, that means I help companies turn scattered tools, workflows, data, and decisions into one clearer system.

Not because AI is magic.

Because most businesses already have the pieces. They just do not have a brain connecting them.

I work with founders, agencies, education companies, service businesses, and operational teams who want better visibility, faster decisions, cleaner processes, and fewer meetings that should have been a button.

I care about useful systems.

Systems that help you see what is going on.

Systems that save time.

Systems that make money.

Systems that reduce chaos instead of adding another login to remember.

I am not a traditional consultant.

I do not show up with a 90-page deck, say “alignment” twelve times, and disappear.

I think. I write. I design. I build. I test. I ship.

I can look at a funnel, map the business logic, write the copy, design the product flow, connect the APIs, create the automation, and still care whether the headline feels human.

That mix is the point.

How I got here.

I learned marketing before AI was cool.

I learned design before templates ate the internet.

I learned code because I got tired of waiting for other people to build the thing in my head.

And I learned game design because nothing teaches behavior better than watching people click the same button 400 times for a fake reward.

I like turning complicated things into simple frameworks people can actually use.

What I like.

  • Practical work
  • Clear thinking
  • Useful systems
  • Good writing
  • Simple tools
  • Better decisions
  • Work that compounds

I am not interested in making business sound more complicated than it is. Most companies do not need more noise. They need clearer offers, better systems, cleaner data, faster feedback, and fewer people doing work a machine or a process should already handle.

Outside of work.

I'm a father of two, based in Portugal, powered by coffee, books, and the dangerous belief that I can probably build it myself.

Sometimes that belief is correct.

Sometimes it becomes a three-week debugging arc.

Either way, I usually learn something useful.

The short version

I help growing companies grow faster by finding the invisible mess inside operations, marketing, and product, then building the systems to make it less painful, more useful, and more profitable.
